MSI Services Pvt. Ltd. is currently hiring for the role of “Associate – Social Impact Team" for our business operations in Bangalore, India. We prefer immediate joiners or short notice joiners.
Overview: For over three decades, MSI's philanthropic initiatives have created lasting impact across education, healthcare and nutrition, and vocational training. We are seeking an Associate – Social Impact Team to be based in Gujarat (remote). The role involves monitoring and auditing projects primarily in Gujarat and Maharashtra, maintaining relationships with NGO partners, and supporting community engagement programs.
Summary: The Social Impact Team supports MSI’s initiatives in the US and India, managing NGO partnerships, employee volunteering, and compliance with social impact norms. They review grant proposals, explore new
community engagement opportunities, and develop partnerships with foundations, while handling additional tasks as needed.
Note: Interested candidates may apply if you are based out of Gujarat and open to traveling within the state. This is a remote opportunity, Monday to Friday, and we prefer candidates who are proficient and good at communicating in Gujarati, English, and Hindi.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Support MSI’s Manager of Social Impact in executing and managing MSI’s Social Impact initiatives, both in them US and in India.
• Engage with existing NGO partners, monitor and audit their programs; provide insights based on ground-level observations.
• Support end-to-end NGO onboarding and ensure compliance with funding and reporting requirements.
• Review grant proposals and assist in partnership development with other foundations.
• Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual impact reports.
• Develop new partnerships with other foundations to explore areas of mutual interest and collaboration with the goal of increasing the scope of MSI’s social impact.
• Identify and leverage relevant public policies and government schemes to strengthen and scale existing charitable initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required and/or requested.
Candidate Profile:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Economics, Development Studies, Public Health, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in the philanthropy and/or non-profit sector, with focus on education, vocational training, or public health.
• Strong research, impact assessment, and budget management skills.
• Knowledge of public policy frameworks and government welfare schemes applicable to social sector programs in India.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to generate reports for the management.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with ability to understand the basic data quality principles and practice.
• Fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
• Based in Gujarat with willingness to travel locally.
